A week ago, a former SpaceX intern and current student at Yale University, posted this article on Medium, claiming that Elon Musk is “probably” Satoshi Nakamoto.
Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym by which the founder of Bitcoin stays under the radar, and, apart from speculations, nobody knows who Satoshi actually is. Rumour has it that Satoshi holds more than $1 million Bitcoin.
Given his background, it would not seem unlikely that someone with expertise in Economics, experience in production level software and one of the greatest innovators of our time could come invent Bitcoin too.
However, less than 48 hours after the rumours spread widely across the internet, Elon put them to sleep with a tweet:
Not true. A friend sent me part of a BTC a few years, but I don’t know where it is.

The mystery lives on.
