After surpassing the $11,000 target today and peaking at $11,517.40, Bitcoin has seen a major correction as it has lost more than $1,000 over about 10 minutes, currently sitting at $9,785.89.

Users on social media claim that some of the exchange platforms are experiencing outage, such as Coinbase and GDAX, which are still unavailable.

Widespread bleeding is seen across the whole market, including ETH and particularly targeting the altcoin. The biggest victims include Metaverse ETP (-29.30%), Quantstamp (-25.12%) and Substratum (-23.88%).
