In the biggest price increase that Bitcoin has ever witnessed, the king of cryptocurrencies has been growing by $1000 a day for the past 3 days. Coinmarketcap gives an average exchange price of $15,310.90, which is more than $6,000 in less than a week.
Interestingly, the price across different exchange platforms varies considerably, as can be seen in the picture below:
The price of one Bitcoin sees a difference of over $1,000 on the major exchange platforms Bitfinex and Coinbase, evaluated at $14,250 and $15,400 respectively.
For anyone who is newly interested in #Bitcoin, instead of going and blindly buying it, go instead and learn. Watch a couple docs. Read a book or 20 articles. The price is fun, but what really matters is why it exists at all, and the consequences to society now that it does.

It seems that every day is an all-time high for Bitcoin as it broke past the $13k, $14k and $15 on 3 consecutive days. At the same time, other currencies devaluate with respect to Bitcoin, and Russia’s rube is trading today at 1,000,000 : 1 against Bitcoin.
Whilst the king is growing at astonishing rates, the altcoin market is taking significant losses, losing both BTC and USD value as everyone is putting their investment into BTC.
